wats0n stores the information needed to run your search: your account identity, resume, search profile, job matches, applications, notes, reminders, and progress metrics.

How the data is used

Your resume and profile are used to rank job opportunities and explain why they may fit. wats0n does not submit applications or contact employers automatically.

Connected services

Google or LinkedIn provide account identity. Stripe processes subscription payments. Career-search providers receive only the information required to run a search.

Storage and control

Sessions are stored securely, uploaded resumes are private by default, and access is limited to the signed-in account. You can update your profile and application records from the workspace.

Optional analytics

We use PostHog to measure page visits, campaign sources, onboarding steps, feature usage, web performance, browser errors, dead clicks, and aggregate click or movement heatmaps. When configured for an advertising campaign, Reddit Pixel receives only limited conversion events (resume uploaded, verified matches viewed, and subscription purchase). We do not send resume contents, application notes, your email address, job details, or payment details to Reddit. PostHog also uses your IP address to estimate your country, region, and city, and collects browser, operating system, device type, language, timezone, and screen size. IP-based location is approximate; we do not request GPS access. Analytics uses a random visitor identifier and, after sign-in, your internal account ID. Browser error messages are redacted before transmission; error type and sanitized code locations are retained for diagnosis.

We also use session replay to understand navigation, clicks, scrolling, form use, and layout problems. A replay can include the interface content shown on screen, personal and account details, resume and application content, typed form values, links, images, embedded content, and canvas-based visuals. Password fields remain masked by the replay recorder. Console logs and network request or response bodies and headers are not recorded. Network timing may be recorded without request or response content. Page URL query strings and fragments are removed.

Analytics identifiers and your preference are stored in your browser. Usage analytics and session replay start automatically unless you have opted out. You can turn both off below without affecting access to wats0n. Previously saved opt-outs are respected.
